Product Warranties
Product Warranties from any physical items sold must be resolved through the manufacturer. Household HQ is not responsible for broken or not working products delivered. Household HQ does not handle packages directly.
Product Returns and Refunds
Household HQ does not provide refunds or returns as Household HQ uses drop shipping to fulfill physical orders. The client must go through the manufacturer if there is a problem with the product.
All sales from Household HQ are final and are only subject to warranty from the manufacturer.
Online Courses and e-Learning
Household HQ does not provide refunds or returns for e-learning or online courses. All sales from Household HQ are final for these products.
Open Enrollment Courses
Open enrollment courses are courses that the general public can register for and receive learning from by registering on www.household-hq.com/event or through an affiliated site. Refunds are at the discretion of the company (Household HQ) and will follow the general guidelines:
Blended Learning Courses
Refunds are available based on the status of learning and timing of request in relation to when the in person portion is to be held.

If the participant has not started the online course and the in person portion is more than 14 days away, then a full refund is available.

If the participant has started the online course and the in person portion is more than a week away, 50% refund is available.

If the participant has not started the online course and the in person portion is more than a 7 and less than 14 days away, 50% refund is available.

No refunds are available for participants if the in person portion is to be held within 7 days, regardless of online learning status.
In Person Only Courses
Refunds are available based on the status of learning and timing of request in relation to when the in person portion is to be held.

No refunds are available for participants if the in person portion is to be held within 7 days.

50% refunds are available for participants if the in person portion is to be held within greater than 7 but less than 14 days.

A full refund is available for those who cancel further than 14 days before the course is to start.
Household HQ is not responsible for issues out of the control of the company. Refunds can be issued based on the discretion of the owner. Canceled events may be issued a refund at the discretion of the owner for reasons such as, but not limited to: lack of minimum number of participants required, Venue cancelation, and instructor availability.
Contracted Courses
Contracted courses are available and have individual contracts associated with the work, training, etc. that is requested. All policies still apply and additional conditions may be listed in the contract.
Generally, contracts require at least 50% down to book and get started. This may vary based on contract negotiations and the type of class being offered. If additional subcontracts have to be used to fulfill training standards, subcontract rate may be the minimum due to book the subcontractor.
Refunds of the down payment are not available. However, a new date will be offered to fulfil the contract obligations. If more than the minimum down payment was offered, the excess amount can be returned. For example, if the contract requires 50% down to book but the client offers 60%, then the additional 10% would be refunded if the reason for cancelation was from the client.

Additional dates will be suggested, if available.
Contracted Equipment Installation
Contracted equipment installation is available and have individual contracts associated with the work, training, etc. that is requested. All policies still apply and additional conditions may be listed in the contract.
Generally, contracts require at least 50% down to book and get started. This may vary based on contract negotiations and the type of installation being offered. If additional subcontracts have to be used to fulfill installation, subcontract rate may be the minimum due to book the subcontractor. The cost of equipment is also considered a minimum standard. Household HQ will require the minimum amount, no less than 50%. If the cost of equipment and subcontracts, etc. exceed 50%, then the down payment will be that amount.
Refunds of the down payment are not available. However, a new date will be offered to fulfil the contract obligations. If more than the minimum down payment was offered, the excess amount can be returned. For example, if the contract requires 50% down to book but the client offers 60%, then the additional 10% would be refunded if the reason for cancelation was from the client. The exception is if the contracted minimum is over 50%.
